Epiphany, il browser web ufficiale di GNOME che lega insieme anche molti componenti del famoso ambiente desktop per avere maggiore focus nella navigazione web, si è aggiornato alla versione 3.6.1 da pochissime ore. Epiphany 3.6.1 è il primo rilascio di manutenzione del ramo 3.6.x ed è dotato di alcune caratteristiche nuove e alcuni aggiornamenti di traduzione. Le caratteristiche salienti di Epiphany 3.6.1, il cui changelog completo è disponibile a questo indirizzo, sono le seguenti:

• Environment is no longer replaced when spawning ephy-profile-migrator;
• The app menu has been merged into the gear menu when the system does not support global application menus;
• F10 has been added as “accel” for the gear menu;
• Users have to make sure windows are properly closed when using the ‘Quit’ option in the app menu;
• The application no longer automatically downloads embedded objects;
• Several translation updates have been implemented;
